From Budget Bytes.

Ingredients

Beef Stroganoff

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1 Lb ground beef
  • 1/4 Tsp ground pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 diced bell pepper
  • 8 Oz wide egg noodles
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbs chopped parsley

What to do with them...

  1. Mince the garlic, dice the bell pepper, and add them to the melted butter in a large pot or skillet and saute over medium heat for about one minute, or until the garlic is soft and fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef and continue to saute until it is fully browned.
  3. Add the uncooked egg noodles to the pot along with the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard and stir to combine.
  4. Place a lid on the pot and allow the liquid to come to a boil over medium-high heat. When it boils, stir the pot and replace the lid. Turn the burner to low and allow pot to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the noodles are tender add the cream to the pot. Stir it up and taste for seasoning. Roughly chop a handful of parsley and sprinkle it over the top. Serve hot.
