With the TP-Link router that we purchased on April 12, 2022, it's actually pretty easy to map a network drive to the USB share connected to the router. It only took me about two hours to figure it out. Whatever you do, DON'T try to find out how to do it on the web. You'll be stuck in the mud for a while.
Instructions (Haha!)
- Open the Run window - just type "run" in the search field on the taskbar
- Type in the router's IP address like this: \\10.7.3.1
- That will make the small case "g" appear in the Network section of Windows Explorer. Right-click that and select "Map Drive". Map it and call it whatever you want.
You're done :-)
